Is the free plan a trial?

No. One active student is free for as long as you like, with no countdown and no credit card required.

What counts as an "active" student?

Any student who isn't archived. Archiving a student keeps all their history but frees up your active slot.

What do I get for $4.99/month?

Unlimited active students. Everything else in the app is already included on the free plan for your one active student.

What happens if I cancel?

Nothing is deleted or hidden. All your students, sessions, invoices, and payments stay readable. You simply can't add or reactivate another active student until you're back under the free limit or subscribe again.

Can I export my data?

Yes. You can export your students, sessions, invoices, line items, and payments as CSV or a full JSON file from inside the app.

Do you use my students' information for ads?

Never. There are no advertising SDKs, and student data is never sold or used for advertising.

Is there an Android or web version?

TutorLane is a native iPhone app today. This website is informational only. There's no web dashboard to sign into.
